‘Triplex’ to vie at Fear Faire

Iranian short film ‘Triplex’ has been shortlisted for the Fear Faire Film Festival in the US.

Ali Kianersi’s directorial debut was selected for the final stage of the competition at the 2022 edition of the event.

‘Triplex’ is a "15+" (restricted to people aged 15 and above) film.

Iran-based Bahr Films Company, presided by female Iranian director Maryam Bahrololoumi, is in charge of the international distribution of Kianersi’s film.

Qazaleh Nazar, Seyyed-Ahmad Hosseini, Minou Azarmgin, and Yasaman Torabi are some of the names starring in ‘Triplex’.

“The purpose of The Fear Faire Film Festival is to introduce the newest creators in horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and alternative music to mainstream horror lovers. This is a celebration of independent creation and the development of artistry among individuals in the horror genre,” the media wrote.

The 2022 edition of the festival is scheduled for May 13-14.
